Northeast Detective Division is asking for the public’s assistance to identify and located the suspect who robbed a Wawa in Wissinoming.
On January 4, 2015, at 4:40 am, an unknown male entered a Wawa located at 6001 Harbison Avenue and proceeded to walk behind the counter and take several cartons of cigarettes and placing them into a plastic bag. When the male was confronted by store employees, he put his hand into his jacket pocket simulating he had a weapon. After taking the cigarettes, he fled the store entering an older model blue Pontiac Bonneville with a Pa tag JLM-1642. The suspects then fled and was last seen Harbison Avenue toward Frankford Avenue. There were no injuries reported during this incident.
Suspect Description: Hispanic male, 20-25 years-of-age, 5’5″-5’7″, 180 lbs., stocky build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans, and blue sneakers.
