Southwest Detective Division is asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect wanted for an attempted robbery/stabbing in Cobbs Creek.
On Friday 11-28-14 at 11:11 am, an employee, a 22 year-old male, of Jacquez Grocery Store located at 6001 Baltimore Avenue was inside when an unknown male entered the store armed with a knife demanding money. When the employee attempted to stop the suspect from entering the register area, he was cut on his right hand with the suspects knife. After a failed attempt at obtaining money, the suspect fled and was last seen west on Baltimore Avenue. The employee was transported Mercy ER for a laceration to his right hand.
Suspect is also wanted for questioning in the October 28, 2013, robbery of the same store.
Suspect Description: Black male, 25-27 years-of-age, 5’8″, 150 lbs, wearing a green Eagles hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and light colored sneakers. Suspect appears to be wearing a fake beard.
